I picked up this sculpting paste for my adult son who, for the past 10 years, has just buzzed off his hair and never had to mess with it. He grew it out recently and is trying to figure out what to do with it. He never really messed with pastes and glues and styling products before. He tried a few and hated how sticky and heavy they were. I was going to put this in his Christmas stocking (Yes, I still make stockings for my adult kids.) but he saw it and took it. He likes it. He says that it isn’t nearly as sticky or hard and it keeps his hair in place without looking wet or super shiny. He doesn’t like the scent though. Too strong for his preferences.
I saw his hair last night and it looked really good. Well groomed but not overdone or sticky. He will continue to use this paste but, if he can find one that works the same and doesn’t have a strong scent, he will switch. Other than the scent, this is a favorite of my son’s and he has been through several kinds of products and nearly buzzed his hair off again because none of them did what he wanted. This is as close as he has gotten to being happy with his hair. I think it does a great job by the way his hair looks and stays looking even after being out in the elements.

Really like this product, it is easy to use, and works great. In fact I am liking all the Dove Men+Care products that I have tried so far.
This one holds my hair in style just as I want and it has a very nice scent. It is not a super solid hold, like glue as some of those waxy products do, nor does it look as if I’m using a hair product (you know, that shiny shellac look)… I do recommend this product.

This is a good hair styling product. I like the light scent, and it holds my hair pretty well throughout the day. It is always easy to wash out, and I am come to like Dove products in general. I use their deodorant, body wash, and shampoo/conditioner. I only wish Dove would come out with a men’s conditioner that was not a 2-in-1. Their conditioners are much better, but I prefer the scent from the Men + Care line, especially the green fresh or extra fresh line.
