  1. Michael

I bought this Bosch X-Line 70-piece set to keep in a site box as a general-purpose backup rather than as a primary drilling solution. The case is compact and reasonably well organised, with bits held securely enough to survive transport. On handling, the titanium-coated HSS drill bits feel adequately finished, though relatively light, and the screwdriver bits are standard profile rather than anything precision-ground. For mixed materials work, the breadth of contents is genuinely useful, covering wood, masonry, and metal without having to dip into multiple kits.

In use, performance is competent but clearly mid-tier. The metal bits cut mild steel cleanly at sensible speeds, though edge retention drops off with repeated use, and the masonry bits are serviceable for brick but struggle with harder aggregate. Screwdriver bits fit well initially, but wear becomes noticeable under sustained driving, especially with impact drivers. As a versatile, all-in-one set for occasional jobs and light maintenance, it does the job. For frequent or demanding work, the limitations in durability become apparent fairly quickly.

  2. Declan

Came missing two drill bits gold number 2 and gold number 3.

  3. gary atkinson

Good quality and easy to use.

  4. ManWithoutHat

Has been very good – masonry drills and general drills have been great, just the case is a bit clunky
